MINISTRY NAME: BIBLE STUDY GROUP

WHO DOES MINISTRY SERVE: Parishioners

WHAT DOES MINISTRY DO: Studies and reflects on the Word of God. This year we will be studying the Acts of the Apostles.

THE PRIMARY GOALS THE MINISTRY SEEKS TO ACHIEVE:

1. To have a greater understanding of Sacred Scripture.

2. To deepen the relationship with Jesus Christ and his Church through the Study of Sacred Scripture.

3. To have a great opportunity for fellowship within the Parish family. 

HOW DOES MINISTRY SEEK TO ACHIEVE THESE GOALS: Participants will attend and participate in weekly sessions.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF MINISTRY MEMBERS: To review materials, answer homework questions, and attend and participate in the weekly discussions about Sacred Scripture.

GIFTS/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS NEEDED BY MEMBERS TO SERVE IN MINISTRY: The Love of Christ.

TIME COMMITMENT REQUIRED BY MEMBER TO SERVE: Approximately 3 to 5 hours per week.

WHEN DOES MINISTRY MEET: Every Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. for 28 weeks, starting August 29, 2018.

WHERE DOES MINISTRY MEET: Parish House Conference Room at the North Campus.

TRAINING OR OTHER SUPPORT PROVIDED TO MEMBERS: Books and DVDs.
