Our Lady of the Holy Rosary-St. Richard Catholic Church is a merger of two existing parishes, St. Richard Catholic Church and Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, that became effective on November 28, 2010. The main Sanctuary where the community gathers for worship is located on the property that previously comprised St. Richard Catholic Church, and the Parish School and rectory are located on the property that previously comprised Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

The two parishes began worshiping together in early August of 2010, with this mission statement: “To nourish our community through The Word and The Sacraments, embracing our diversity as we minister to the needs of others.”

The Order of the Most Holy Trinity and of the Captives (Trinitarians) assumed the pastoral care of the Parish on July 1, 2012.

Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

Prayer of St. Richard of Chichester

Thanks be to You, my Lord Jesus Christ,

For all the benefits You have given me,

For all the pains and insults You have borne for me.

O most Merciful Redeemer, Friend, and Brother,

May I know you more clearly,

Love you more dearly,

And follow You more nearly, day by day.

Amen.

Our Parish Mission is to nourish our community through The Word and The Sacraments,
embracing our diversity as we minister to the needs of others.
